We are a full-service veterinary hospital able to assist in all areas of animal health. We offer vaccinations, health checkups, sick pet exams, surgery, dentistry and some emergency care. Sierra View Animal Hospital is located at 93 E. Sierra Avenue off Blackstone between Herndon and Barstow. Our parking lot is located across the street from the DMV.
It is our goal to provide you with the most up-to-date services and are proud to refer you to three excellent after-hours emergency and critical care facilities.
Computers We have added a computer system to the practice and things have been running smoothly. This high tech upgrade allows us to provide the most up-to-date features in patient management. Next time your in for a visit, ask us to snap a picture of your pet to add to their chart!
Digital Dental Radiographs We now offer digital dental radiographs! The digital radiographs allow us to view what is occurring below the gumline and to head off dental problems before they become harmful to your pet. Katie is well trained and has been hard at work making your pets dental experience the best it can be. Ask her to show you our state of the art equipment we use to make dentistry top notch.
New Friends We have welcomed new friends to the office, and also said sad goodbyes to old ones. As our client base grows, we hope you all feel part of our family by making your visit as comfortable as possible. Any input you have to help us make your visit more pleasant is welcomed. Dr. Peter Walsh Dr. Walsh is a board certified surgeon that is now visiting the Fresno Area. He is incredibly skilled in soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries and travels to Fresno on a weekly basis from the Sacramento area. We are thrilled to have him here for those surgeries that require his incredible experience.
We have learned a lot! I never could have imagined the outpouring of encouragement and love from our clients and patients while we are growing and changing to serve you better. We have learned a lot in the last six months, and hope to make the next six even better. We could not do this without the support of our patients and clients. All the cabinets, and counter tops were removed from the hospital, along with anything that was touching the floor, in order to prepare for our new floors.
Early Friday morning, we began painting the hospital lobby. On Friday night and Saturday, Surface Craft came out to install our new flooring. Our new floors were not able to be walked on until Monday.
Early Monday morning the race began to put the hospital back together again. The painting recommenced, the cabinets and counter tops were installed into every room, along with new treatment tables and a large wet tub. New computers were installed into each room and three more in the treatment area.
Tuesday morning the hospital re-opened with a faint fresh paint and epoxy smell, but looking better than ever. We would like to thank everyone who helped in the remodeling process, and we would like to especially thank our clients for being so patient and understanding while we were closed for a long weekend.

Our Remodel
Sierra View Animal Hospital recently under went a remodel. The weekend of March 23rd turned out to be a 72 hour extreme makeover marathon. Thursday night was the demolition phase. Dr. Scheidt's husband, George, led the way in demolishing the hospital, along with many friends and family who came to lend a much needed helping hand.
