Doctors
Dr. Stephanie Scheidt , DVM Dr. Stephanie Scheidt moved to Fresno from Canada and graduated from Clovis West High School in 1992. She attended California
State University Fresno and while working for Waterhouse Animal Hospital, graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science
degree in 1996. While at Fresno State she married George Scheidt, and together they moved to Sacramento so she could attend
UC Davis Veterinary School. After
four years in veterinary school, Dr. Scheidt graduated with a special interest in internal medicine and surgery, and a new
addition to the family, little baby Grace. The couple moved back to Fresno where Dr. Scheidt once again joined her friend
and mentor, Dr. Cheryl Waterhouse. After
four years in private practice and the addition of her son Gannon, Dr. Scheidt purchased Sierra View Animal Hospital.
Dr. Rick Constantino will spend two days a month here at the clinic, but will enjoy his free time dancing with his wife
and enjoying his family. With Dr. Rick and his team, Dr. Scheidt hopes to continue to provide a friendly family environment
with the highest level of veterinary care. In addition to Grace and Gannon, Dr. Scheidt shares her home with Motor, a young goldendoodle.
Dr.
Scheidt sees most small mammals. If they are furry and cute, they are welcome here at the clinic. No feathers or scales though,
sorry! Please feel free to ask the staff about any concerns you may have with the changes we will be seeing in the short future.
We hope that you are as thrilled with the changes as we are!
Dr. Rick Constantino , DVM
Dr. Rick Constantino was born and raised in Fresno. He received his Bachelor's
degree in zoology from Fresno State, his master's in zoology from the University of Washington, and his D.V.M. from UC Davis
in 1978. He began his career in Sacramento but returned to his hometown and opened Sierra View Animal Hospital
in 1981. His philosophy has always been to provide quality veterinary care while allowing the pet owner
to participate in the decision-making processes. He has always been proud of Sierra View Animal Hospital's
reputation and is very pleased with it's continued growth under the direction of Dr. Stephanie Scheidt. His
plan is to continue to work at SVAH two days a month because he enjoys the practice of veterinary medicine, the
patients, and the clients. Dr. Constantino is married to Kathy, a
retired kindergarten teacher, and has two children. Scott, who lives in San Francisco, works in the computer
industry. Christina lives and teaches elementary school in Ventura. Christina and her
husband Glenn Austin have a son, Will and a daughter MacKenzie who are the light of their grandparent's eyes.
Semi-retirement will allow much more time to be spent with family. Even though they are empty-nesters
the Constantino house is filled with the pitter-patter of little feet from their miniature poodle Chloe and their cat Lola. Dr.
Constantino and Kathy love to travel and have many new places that are in their future plans. They also
have spent much time ballroom dancing and will continue to do so. Since they have more free time they have
been able to exercise more at a local gym. Dr. Constantino says the one new adventure he beenpursuing is studying
Spanish since his grandson Will is in total immersion Spanish in school.

Chan & Motor Scheidt Hi, I'm Kat. I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada and moved to Fresno in 2005, to be with my husband, Patrick.
I joined the Sierra View family in February 2007, and I love it here! Everyone is so wonderful!
I have worked in the Veterinary field for 5 years and just love spending my day with the furry friends at Sierra
View. Especially “Motor” our office dog. He’s a goober!
Next time you're at Sierra View Animal Hospital, come say hi to Motor and I. WOOF! My name is Motor, I'm a 2yr old Goldendoodle.
I joined the Sierra View Family when I was just a pup. I work hard greeting our clients and socializing new puppies.
I get paid in cookies! I'm a Pisces, and enjoy the outdoors. When I'm not working at Sierra View, I enjoy
tobogganing, hiking, boating, digging in my backyard and chewing all my mom's fancy shoes.

She graduated from the San Joaquin Veterinary Technology program in 2002. She came to SVAH in August
2007 and has loved every minute of it! She comes home everyday with a smile on her face telling here family
about all the wonderful furry friends she met that day. I'll admit, it does make me a little jealous.
She was born and raised in Fresno and has a fabulous husband, Perry, two beautiful step-children Breanna & Blake,
