Welcome to Sierra View Animal Hospital's reception area. Once inside our hospital
you will be greeted by one of our smiling team members. We will get you checked in and into an exam room. Don't

Exam Rooms
Each one of our exam rooms are fully equipped to meet your pet's needs. Prior
to the doctor's exam, one of our highly trained team members will obtain your pet's vitals.
(Heart rate, respiration rate, temp, etc.) Sierra View Animal Hospital is a paperless practice, and uses an advanced
practice management software which allows any of our team members to access your pet's records from anywhere in the hospital.
Pharmacy
Sierra View Animal Hospital's pharmacy is stocked with medication for all your pet's needs.
We carry your choice of flea, tick and heartworm preventatives; always check to see if we are having a special sale!

Laboratory
Our in house laboratory allows us to run multiple test on your pet. Lab work done on your pet helps our veterinarians
make a diagnosis and choose what treatment plan is best for your pet. We can also check routine (healthy) lab work at
anytime to ensure your pet's health.
Sierra View Animal Hospital also works with an outside
laboratory, Idexx. This allows us to perform in depth chemistry panels. Our advanced practice management
software is networked with Idexx and our in house lab equipment, allowing your pet's lab work to automatically be imported
into your pet's chart the moment it is complete.
Surgery
Our recently re-modeled surgery room is equipped to fit the surgical needs of your pet. Our surgery table is kept warm
with a heated water circular pad. We use the most modern sedatives and anesthetics. During surgery, we always
have at least one of our team members assisting the doctor and closely monitoring your pet. While your pet is in recovery, he
or she will be assigned their very own nurse. Over the next couple of hours, their vitals will be monitored very
closely by their nurse.
Treatment
Area
Our treatment area has two tables. The wet table is used for all of our dental prophys.
The other is used for minor non-sterile procedures, surgical prep and exams. The treatment area is the heart of
our hospital, sometimes it's busier than Grand Central Station! The treatment room is located in the center of
the hospital surrounded by the pharmacy, lab, radiology room and surgical suite. This helps keep everything flowing
smoothly.
